Here you can find training initiatives, and events, ensuring comprehensive literacy across the entire university community, dedicated to equipping students and professionals with the skills needed to excel in AI and Data Science. Our initiatives include tailored training modules for upskilling professionals, workshops, webinars, industry forums, meetups, full academic AI and Data Science courses (through our college's departments), summer academies, and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science programs.

Current Programs
Formal Degrees
Formal bachelor's and master's degrees related with Artifical Intelligence and Data Science are offered by the Department of Computing and Software Engineering at the U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering, which has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and a Master's Degree in Computer Science with concentrations in Cybersecurity and Data Science.
Dendritic is additionally focused on developing micro-credentials, badges, trainings, workshops, and webinars that complement the department’s portfolio.

The FGCU AI Virtual Academy is the university’s hub for AI education and workforce development, offering broad-based literacy programs, professional training, and micro-credentials to prepare our community for the future of AI.
Signature Events
Join us for our signature events, where experts from academia, government and industry share insights on the latest trends and developments in AI and Data Science. Two event series form the core of our signature events: the Industry Forums; and the Dendritic Meetups.
WCE AI Fellowship
The WCE AI Fellowship Program is a university-wide initiative that empowers faculty across disciplines to integrate artificial intelligence into their teaching and learning processes, fostering innovation, collaboration, and AI literacy at FGCU.
